At OTI Power, we place high importance on preventing the spread of COVID-19 both in the workplace and in homes. We also place a strong emphasis on supporting you and your business during this period of uncertainty.

In this blog, we outline the actions that the OTI Power staff are trained to follow for both the safety of our customers and our staff:

PERSONAL SAFETY AND HYGIENE
• Wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds using soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand sanitiser
• Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze using your elbow or a tissue
• Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
• Stay home if you are sick

WHEN STAFF ARE ONSITE OR ON THE ROAD
• Wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds using soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand sanitiser before and after any visit to a workplace
• Schedule onsite visits in advance and follow the below simple points;
o Cancel appointments if you are unwell or if you have flu-like symptoms
o Contact your customers ahead of time to remind them of your upcoming visit
o Check that all staff or household members are well and not displaying flu-like symptoms
o Put your clients at ease by informing them that you are well and not displaying flu-like symptoms
o Re-book onsite visits if there are any concerns
• Do not shake hands and avoid touching your eyes, face and mouth
• Disinfect surfaces that are regularly touched including phones, iPads, pens, notebooks, doorknobs and tools
• Keep a minimum of 1.5 metres from customers at all times

WHEN IN THE OFFICE
• Wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds using soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand sanitiser
• Do not shake hands or touch your eyes, face and mouth
• Disinfect your workstation at the beginning and at the end of each workday
• Encourage and support employees to work remotely where possible

• Disinfectant
